Herpes: It takes about 2 to 6 weeks for an antibody response to develop to a clinically measurable level. The variation depends somewhat on which type of antibody ( igm or igg) the particular test method is measuring. However not all stds are diagnosed by a blood test. Some of them need clinical symptoms. See your doctor if you are worried.
