Possible: Very unlikely. Would more likely be some other type of bug bite such as a mosquito.

Am a bit doubtful.: Cimex lectularius or the bed bug is a parasite that is nocturnal. At night it is attracted to the carbon dioxide that humans exhale as well the warmth emitted by our bodies. It comes out to feed on our blood. Bed bug bites may have no sx's/signs except for 2 small skin puncture points. A reaction may show from an hr to several days later. It can cause itchy, pink, swollen, lesions w clear center.
