A member asked:

Can irregular periods make it harder to conceive? i have had one miscarriage and that was almost 2 years ago.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Definitely: Irregular periods can sometimes mean that your ovulating irregularly too. Without releasing an egg, you won't be able to get pregnant. At 22 years of age, you're quite young. Typically a doctor doesn't diagnose infertility in someone your age until you've had unprotected intercourse for 1 year while attempting to get pregnant. If that's the case, make an appt with fertility specialist for test.
