Upper backpain : It is unlikely to be cancer if you don't have cough or blood in the sputum and the ct + MRI are normal. Cervical stenosis may cause arthritis of the neck joints called facets which in turn lead to secondary muscular spasms and pain in the upper back and neck. Avoid chiropractic manipulations and see a pain specialist who is properly trained in cervical facet procedures.
