No: It's not genetic, it's not contageous, it's not dangerous. It goes away eventually after the car ride. There are over the counter drugs you can take to prevent it from happening. Just be happy you didn't get it.

No: (unless he is in your car ; ) suggest he sit in front, avoid reading or gaming on his iphone, or consider preventive medication (dramamne or transderm scop) or even anti-nausea medication (such as zofran). Watching the horizon through the front window can also be helpful.
