With contraception: A woman can be decycled if she is on some type of hormonal contraception- including pills, patch or the ring. The cycle is skipped if the woman uses the med continuously& skips the non active hormone time. If the patch or the ring is used- then you wouldn't take the week break that you normally would to see your cycle. So you would immediately replace the ring & place another patch. Discuss w dr.
