There is: No 'one' best pill for this purpose, they all work to some degree and usually it's trial and error finding a 'best' one for an individual woman. Medroxyprogesterone, megestrol, and Norethindrone are all available in the us. There are synthetic progestins not available in the us some consider to be 'best, ' but again their is no proof.
