Everybody...: ...Has candida, somewhere. As long as it is well-behaved (does not overgrow or end up in blood or urine) it does not cause any problems.

Depends...: ...On location and severity. Superficial candida of skin, mouth, or genital area is a relatively minor problem. If the infection is deeper, or the patient has problems with the immune system, it can be more serious.
