Vag bleeding: Prolonged vaginal bleeding can be a result of no ovulation that took place in the past. It leads to abnormal growth of uterine lining that starts sloughing off in an unpredictable fashion causing profuse uncontrolled bleeding. Also, if there was a chance of pregnancy, do a pregnancy test to rule out miscarriage or ectopic. You will need to discuss your problem with a doc to get it worked up.
