What level of myopia would cancel the need for reading glasses? what age would a -1.00 prescription normally need readers? i take glasses off to read.

Few more years: At your age a -1.00 rx is good for reading when you have your glasses off. In another 5-7 years you might feel the need for a mild prescription even when your glasses are off. If you keep your glasses on to read, you'll probably begin to have some problems pretty soon.
