Common: You probably mean fistula. For hemodialysis? Blood clots are common and can be removed with a balloon catheter, by a trained interventional doc. Usually no obvious reason but anatomy, blood flow and hypercoagulability testing are checked. Usually all tests normal. Certainly you want to discuss your specific case with your doc.
