Echocardiography: An echocardiogram with doppler will make the diagnosis. There is no need for treatment unless it is severe and causing symptoms.

Exam and echo: Aortic stenosis is a narrowing of the aortic valve (the one that when open allows blood to leave the heart towards the body and when closed prevents it from returning). It can be diagnosed by physical exam and / or echocardiography . Treatment will depend on the severity and can range from balloon stretching of the valve in a catheterization lab or surgery. See your doctor.
