Yes: Electric toothbrushes are proven to do a better job at keeping your teeth clean, but like with manual toothbrushes, you have to use it! they do remove more plaque and build-up. At your next dental visit, you should discuss with your hygienist the proper way to brush with an electric toothbrush.

Yes and no: You can do a great job with either an electric or manual brush, but it seems easier to do with an electric brush.
