Essential fatty acid: Epa/dha. Cod liver oil, and evening primrose oil taken orally are very helpful for skin. Topical steroids thin the skin and should be avoided. Fair skinned persons who don't do well in sun may need vitamin d which can be rubbed into the skin of the face, lips, and neck. It is has excellent anti-inflammatory properties and only causes toxicity if taken together with calcium supplements.
