Heart Damage: Most silent heart attacks (those that one does not know happened) do not cause too much damage to the heart and many people are fine. But, if the heart is not beating correctly or has to work overtime to accomplish it's functions it can get extra growth or hypertrophy. It sounds like the doctor is doing all of the right testing.
