I am diabetic& have had a continuous yeast infectioinfection for the past two years. what are the long term consequences?

Yeast infections: Chronic yeast infections are very common in diabetes because of the high sugar concentrations in the urine, which help the yeast grow. They do not cause any long-term harm, but do cause annoying symptoms. The best way to control these is to get the blood sugar down and under control. When symptoms flare severely you can get otc creams (eg monistat) or a presciption pill from a doctor (fluconazole).
