What can i do if my uric acid is 8.40 my age is 18 can it kill me i am worried please tell pmr?

No: At age 18, i would suggest a medical evaluation to look for underlying causes of the elevated uric acid. Treatment is usually not needed without a history of gout or kidney stones. Is there a family history of gout?
