Contact Lenses: Contact lenses are used to correct astigmatism other types of refractive error. They can be used in addition to regular glasses. Always be aware of risk of eye infection with any use of any contact lens if not properly cared for or if used for an extended period of time. After 40, reading vision ability decreases. Lack of data: Why have you not gotten contacts to date? Contacts are available in a huge range of powers and even can be custom made. Is there a problem with eye illness in your case or is you eye misshapen? Check with your ophthalmologist to determine whether contacts can work for you.
