No best brand: There is not one brand of glucosamine that has been shown to be more effective. Glucosamine has not been shown to rebuild cartilage in any quality scientific study. It may relieve arthritis patients in some patients. Doses used that seemed to help were 1500mg daily. If no change after a month it likely won't help so stop and save that money.
