Possibly OK: It really depends what you are taking the Prednisone for? If it is for an asthma or COPD flare then that is appropriate. The main thing is avoiding side effects like bone loss or affecting pituitary hormone axis in body etc. Usually short term treatment bursts are not a problem, prolonged usage is more problematic. But check with your doctor.

Minimal: If you are going to use Prednisone for 10 to 15 days a year you should have no long term consequences. Of course there is no absolute certainities in life but it should be safe to use.
