I would ask: My endocopist if i can take pain meds with small amount of water 3-4 hrs prior to procedure. Many will allow it.

Ask your doctor.: You will be getting anesthesia during your procedure, so the timing of your stopping your pain medications really depends mostly on what time your procedure will be done that day and what kind of sedation you will receive. You should ask your physician for guidance. Good luck.
