OTHER NERVE ISSUES: Consider nerve compression at ankles (tarsal tunnel syndrome), possible metatarsalgia, perhaps small fibre neuropathy. See a podiatrist and get evaluated.

Compression neuropat: Although diabetes may be one of the more common causes of peripheral neuropathy there re many other compressive neuropathies due to other musculoskeletal skeletal conditions and well as the potential for a chemical or drug induced neuropathy. You may want to see a neurologist and undergo EMG or diagnostic imaging if this persists.

Abnormal nerve: Neuropathy is a condition resulting from abnormal nerve function. Neuropathy can be due to certain vitamin deficiencies, nerve damage due to trauma, alcohol consumption, radiation, side effects of certain medications, or due to certain medical conditions such as diabetes. Treatment varies depending on the cause of the problem. Have it evaluated and appropriately treated.
