See what happens : It is not uncommon for someone to have an irregular period occasionally. This usually self corrects over the next few cycles. If you continue to be irregular or continue to have excessive bleeding schedule a visit with an obgyn to discuss options for cycle control. Check a pregnancy test if you have been active and did not use birth control.
