Maybe (not) . . .: They're currently considered safe enough to be sold. Whether that will hold true in a few years to decades when more information becomes available is impossible to predict. However, we would warn you against turning up the volume too high which could damage your ears. Also we warn you against turning up the volume so loudly that you can't hear noises around you and thus increase accident risk.
