Go see your doctor: I assume you're referring to a spinal tap or lumbar puncture. Talk to your family doc or physician who performed procedure in order to get a copy of your results. Basic results should be available in a matter of minutes to hours. Cultures etc will take several days.

Need more info: What was tapped and what was sought? In er, most basic tests are done stat and back within a few hours. If more-sophisticated testing required, like antigen/antibody, cultures, pheresis, or ms etc., can take 2-5 days, and also adds time if tests cannot be done at location of tap (=if tests are 'sent out' to a regional lab for completion). Good luck!
