? toxic megacolon: Mild, maybe moderate, abdominal (intestinal) pain and diarrhea is expected. Occasionally will see c. Diff in constipated stool, but mostly diarrhea. Complications of c. Diff include toxic megacolon which could present with feeling constipated and abdominal pain. This is a serious complication and should be brought to the attention of our treating physician or local er asap.
