I have a swollen finger. and i really don't know why. i wasn't bit by anything at least not that i know of. and i don't remember hitting it.

See details: The best suggestion is to have a doctor take a look at the finger if it has been present for a while. Arthritis is unlikely. It may be something simple such as an insect bite. Is it painful or tender? If so, seek medical attention.
