Depends: If the blur is of acute onset, you shout see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible - especially if accompanied by pain or redness. If the blur is of slow onset over many months, then you probably need eyeglasses or an improvement in your eyeglasses. During this exam for eyeglasses you can be tested for other sources of blur like elevated eye pressure or diabetes.
