Medications: Some (not all) people experience emotional blunting from ssri antidepressants and antipsychotics. However, this is not the reason such medications are prescribed; they're prescribed to ameliorate painful symptoms of depression and psychosis. There are no medications made to specifically "get rid of" emotions. That would be a very unnatural state for a person.
