Affective Disorder: Affective disorder is a process where your emotions or affect are changed or is causing problems. Some use the term primary affective disorder for depression, depressed mood, poor attention, poor appetite, lethargy. Primary means it is not a product of some other illness. If these symptoms fit, discuss this with your doctor for medication and referral for counseling.
