What i think was an untreated kidney infection eventually cleared on its own, how likely is kidney damage?

Low: Actual infections of the kidney known as pyelonephritis can give one rather severe symptoms especially high fevers and even flank pain. If your symptoms spontaneously cleared then i suspect you did not have true pyelonephritis, and the likelihood of long-term kidney damage is low.
