What should i do to make a fake arm/leg cast?

Arm cast: By fake, i assume for a costume: paper mâché. A more substantial cast would be fiberglass or plaster. Be careful, you could hurt yourself by cutting yourself, burning yourself, cutting off circulation. Best not to do.
