Different reaons: There could be different reasons for "missed periods" . One of the most common one is a condition known as "policystic ovarian syndrome" (pcos). "missed periods" are frequently caused by hormonal imbalance and can be diagnosed as wel as treated relatively easy by a fertility specialists or obgyn.
