Sorry to hear that: I feel sorry for you. Definitely going against your will is not right. You may complain if you felt mistreated. I guess they felt they needed to collect evidence of the perpetrator's intrusion such as skin cells, sperm, hair or whatever else may be present so you could press charges effectively.

This sounds awful!: I'm so sorry that you were put through those experiences. I hope you have support to help you find an effective way to recover from and then confront the authorities who can make changes. My first interest is that you find a supportive therapist to avoid ptsd. Then. A caring attorney to challenge the manner of the police procedure you describe. There may be a support group at a rape crisis center.

Re-traumatizing: I'm sorry to read that after you were sexually traumatized that you experienced an additional negative experience in the hospital. I suspect that they needed evidence from your attack to prosecute whoever hurt you. Even if that were the reason it could still be very hurtful to you. Please find a psychologist or other therapist who works with sexual trauma. Look here: http://www.Rainn.Org/get-help.

Rape & Exam: I'm sorry you have been hurt this way. Rape is a frightening thing for anyone. It is also a crime, in addition to checking you for any physical injuries and treating those, there may also be evidence that will help in legal proceedings against the rapist. If you're a minor and the rapist is an adult, the charges are even more complex. It sounds like you did not want to be treated, though.
