Very Few: Medical conditions are associated with such a wide disparity in BP measurement within a 5 minute period. Unless associated with severe headaches and other neurologic and systemic symptoms, taking accurate repeat measurements that show the same differences will be necessary to sort out the causes. In that case, immediate consultation with a pcp is warranted.
