Don't worry: Never worth worrying about medical problems unless they concern a loved one or friend.Urinary retention can always be treated and virtually never due to a malignancy. Ur in women can be caused by severe stool impaction, cystocele or uterine prolapse & correctable.Due to neurogenic bladder will need to be managed by intermittent catheterization. Surgery will cure if male with prostate enlargement.

Worry: Depending on your age and gender and how often it's happening this can be very serious. Get in to see a urologist.
