Depends: If you are breast feeding, continue to take prenatal vitamins. You will need to take extra iodine up to 250 mg and extra vitamin d 5000 iu if there is not that much in your prenatal or the baby will be deficient in both of them. If you are not breast feeding, take a good quality multivitamin.

DHA also: I agree with dr. Lang - -and would add dha (an omega 3 fatty acid that should have been part of your pregnancy vitamins). The baby will have absorbed a lot of your body's dha in making its brain. So, now you need replenishment for your own body plus more for baby if you're breastfeeding. Sources differ on how much dha is enough, but at least 500mg dha/day is what most people need in general.
