Yes it can: I'm sorry to hear of your very painful loss. Among its many dangerous effects, smoking meth increases blood pressure and heart rate a lot. This can certainly cause a burst aneurysm. All it takes is one episode with drugs like this (which includes stimulants like cocaine). If there was an autopsy, drug screen may have been done. Hoping you are not on such a path yourself.
