Varies: Thoracic -ct every 6 months is likely good. After a period of no change -annual, is ok. Abdominal doppler/ duplex ultrasound -6 months for a while and if no change annual can be reasonable. Good choices for patient: stop smoking exercise cardiovascular lose weight. If need an operation, one is in better shape.
