A member asked:

How long is it supposed to it take for an anal fissure to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: On what you are doing. Can take many days or a few weeks. Bowel softeners to avoid straining and constipation, warm baths, local anesthetic ointment from your doctor, avoid rubbing or scratching the area, dink lots of liquids, avoid caffeine & alcohol that are dehydrating, etc.
