See a doctor...: For an exam. You cannot see the area to tell. Generally a hemorrhoid will be soft & raised & maybe slightly tender. Anal cancer would be more flat & firm and generally not sore. Anal cancer much more rare too. But needs an exam by a doctor to tell.
