Do symptoms like lactose intolerance go away quickly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lifelong: Lactose intolerance is something you will have for a long time. There are people who believe that using alot of milk can rebuild the deficiency enzymes but for most people this does not work. If mild, you can use lactaid pills. If more severe, avoiding dairy is better or limiting it to every four days is helpful. Try almond or coconut milk, try soy mini sandwich ice creams as alternatives.
