Can someone tell me how long will it take for an allergic reaction to clear up?

Depends: Most food allergic reactions will subside in 1-2 days depending on treatment. Poison ivy contact dermatitis allergic reaction can sometimes take a few weeks. Most drug allergic reactions improve after a few days depending on how fast the body "metabolizes" the drug and it stays in the system.
