Nevus: This is most likely a nevus and is nothing to worry about unless it changes in shape, size or color.

Depends: If lesion new then you might want to have checked otherwise could monitor it for changes. There is always the concern for hpv warts and other related std's especially if the lesion is new.

A few possibilities: There are a few possibilities, most benign but i think it would be worthwhile for you to see a dermatologist to definitively diagnose this lesion.
