Could be PUD: There are many things that can cause stomach pain or cramps after eating. However, if her pain is analogous to child birth, then she needs to be examined as soon as possible. That is very severe pain and could be related to severe inflammation of the stomach....Possibly even a stomach ulcer (pud: peptic ulcer disease) or severe inflammation of the bottom of her esophagus.
