Yes but...: It isn't likely; the bird flu seems to be less deadly than initially anticipated. Getting treated will shorten the length of your illness some, and lessen the chance that you'll pass the virus on to someone else. Getting vaccinated is even better - you're much less likely to get sick and if you get sick, much less likely to die. Get vaccinated, get treated, and wash your hands!

Most people will treat their infection like any other flu-like illness and therefore, not ignoring it. 3.You will die if you truly doing nothing for "bird flu", likely from a secondary infection or other complication.
