Any over-the-counter help for someone with conjunctivitis?

Yes: If it is not infectious (red, puffy, painful and/or draining) then you might try zaditor, (ketotifen) or opcon-a. If you believe you have infectious conjunctivitis then either a warm compress or a visit to your doctor.

Maybe: More importantly than finding an over-the-counter treatment is determining the cause of the conjunctivitis. Since many causes can have similar appearances, you would be best served having an eye doctor evaluate you. You still may be able to use a non-prescription medicine, but at least you will know what you are treating.
