Need hearing tested: If you haven't had an audiogram (formal hearing test), you should. Once you've had that, your doctor can discuss it with you. The determination on whether or not you need a hearing aid depends on how bad your hearing is and how much they feel it would help. Also, how much you will actually wear them is important.
