Simple treatment: Burn is response of the tissues to injury from heat/chemicals. It is simply inflammation which means increase blood flow to the area to promote healing. Do not use ice as this can injure already injured skin. If skin is intact, good skin cream daily. If open, moist dressings covering it changed every other day will promote healing. Antibiotics help only if infected. Once healed, protect the area.
