Need treatment: Skipped periods are a common problem with conditions that prevent ovulation. The basic problem is that your ovaries do not ovulate normally and therefore periods may not come. However, this is not good. You should be on oral contraceptive pills or Progesterone to give you normal periods to prevent problems and it can prevent pregnancy if you do not ovulate. See your gynecologist.
